The government of Kazakhstan has ratified the agreement on the demarcation of the state border with Uzbekistan.

APA reports with reference to the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan (Ak Orda) that the relevant law was signed by the President of the country Kasim-Jomart Tokayev.

It should be noted that the agreement on the demarcation of the Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan state border was signed in Tashkent last December.

According to the agreement, the starting point of the state border is the junction of the state borders of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, and the end point of the border line is the junction of the borders of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The agreement envisages marking the demarcated line of the state border with border markers on the ground.
