In the Tula region of the Russian Federation, Oleksiy Moskalev, the father of a schoolgirl who drew an anti-war picture, was sentenced to two years in a general regime prison.

This is reported by "Mediazona".

He was accused of "repeated discrimination of the Russian army" for posts and comments on social networks.

Moskalyov was not in the courtroom during the sentencing.

The court was later told that he had escaped from house arrest on the eve of his sentencing.

It is not known where Moskalyov is.

His daughter, schoolgirl Masha Moskalyova, remains in the shelter.

When asked whether any of the relatives are ready to take custody of the girl, the lawyer answered: "Caring people work with them to awaken family feelings in them."

We will remind that on March 1 in the Tula region, the FSB arrested 54-year-old Oleksiy Moskalyov, against whom a criminal case was opened due to his anti-war publications on social networks.

In particular, he wrote in Odnoklasnyky: "The Russian army. The rapists are next to us."

The court fined Moskalyov 32,000 rubles (about 15,000 hryvnias).

The security forces' attention was also drawn to the incident with his 12-year-old daughter, who brought a drawing with the inscription "No war" and a Ukrainian drawing with the inscription "Glory to Ukraine" to the art class.

It was back in April 2022.

On March 1 of this year, a criminal case was brought against him for repeated "discrediting" of the Russian army.

The father, who is raising the child alone, was charged, and the girl was sent to an orphanage.
