In Łódź, Poland, a group of people attacked and brutally beat Ukrainian brothers Andrii and Pavlo on the night of March 26.

This is reported by inpoland.net.pl.

The incident happened when the brothers were returning home from a night club around midnight.

It is noted that the boys were not refugees from Ukraine because of the war, but have been living in Poland for several years.

There they legally work in a gardening company, they know Lodz and the Polish language well.

When the brothers entered the park to shorten the way home, a group of young people of 10-12 men and women followed them.

After a few tens of seconds, they ran up to the Ukrainians and hurled the first verbal insults at them.

Andriy and Pavlo tried to smooth the situation and said that they have been living here for years, that they are "locals".

However, the attackers brutally beat the boys.

First they hit with their fists, and then with their feet, when they fell to the ground.

The attackers shouted at the brothers: "We hate you, you are from Ukraine, go home."

At the same time, the attackers did not try to take anything from the Ukrainians.

It wasn't about money, cigarettes or alcohol.

After some time, the attackers stopped beating, and the victims of the attack returned home and went to sleep.

Already in the morning, the condition of the boys worsened, so they went to the emergency room together with their Polish employers.

There it turned out that Andrii had a broken jaw and rib, numerous bruises and hematomas, but there were no injuries to his internal organs.

Pavlo suffered less.

He also has bruises and numerous bruises, aching kidneys and a tooth that will need treatment at the dentist.

Andriy remained in the hospital and will need long-term treatment.

The victims claim that they were attacked solely because of their nationality.

The police are now looking for the attackers.

For what they have committed, they face up to three years in prison.
