Rahul Gandhi has lost his membership of Parliament after serving a two-year sentence in a criminal defamation case regarding the Modi surname.

However, the Surat court gave him 30 days to file a further appeal.

The entire opposition, including the Congress, has mobilized regarding this whole matter.

On Monday, the opposition led by the Congress held a Black Protest in both the Houses of Parliament.

The Congress has prepared a strategy to corner the government in Parliament.

Along with this, the party will hold press conferences in 35 cities of the country on March 28 and 29 and will try to corner the central government and the BDP.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh gave this information on Twitter.

In this way, apart from other issues, the reality of the Modi government, the clean chit of the government to Nirav Modi and Lalit Modi will also be highlighted.

Meeting of 16 parties held at Kharge's house


Earlier, a meeting of leaders of opposition parties was held on Monday evening at the residence of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.

Leaders of about 16 parties participated in it.

However, Uddhav Thackeray did not turn up.

Thackeray is angry with Rahul Gandhi for his statement on Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.

He expressed his displeasure by boycotting the meeting.

Big announcement of JDU President Lallan Singh


JDU President Lallan Singh made a big announcement in the meeting held at Kharge's house.

He said that the opposition will fight unitedly in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.


Rahul Gandhi reached by driving his car himself,


Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi also reached this meeting.

Rahul Gandhi came to the residence of the National President while driving himself.

Sonia Gandhi was on the seat next to her.

Big leaders like Jairam Ramesh, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary, KC Venugopal, Pramod Tiwari, Rajni Patil were also involved in the meeting.



Who all came from the opposition?


Ramgopal Yadav and ST Hasan from SP, NCP President Sharad Pawar, JDU National President Rajeev Ranjan alias Lallan Singh attended the meeting.

Apart from these, leaders of BRS, CPM, RJD, CPI, IUML, MDMK, KC, Trinamool Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Jammu and Kashmir National Congress, VCK, JMM and SS also reached the meeting.

Congress had invited like-minded leaders.
