In January-February 2023, compulsory real estate insurance collections in Azerbaijan amounted to 13 million 519.5 thousand manats.

"APA-Economics" reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that this indicator is 49% or 4 million 445.3 thousand manats more than the corresponding period of 2022.

Thus, in January-February 2022, 9 million 74.2 thousand manat insurance premiums were collected.

In this period, the amount of payments for compulsory insurance of real estate was 249.4 thousand manats, which is 2.4 times or 144.9 thousand manats more than in the same period of last year.

In January-February 2022, the amount of payments for this type of insurance was equal to 104.5 thousand manats.

A higher increase in payments compared to insurance collections increased the loss of compulsory real estate insurance by 56.5% in the last year.

Thus, in the first two months of last year, insurance companies allocated 1.15 manats from every 100 manats they collected for this type of insurance, and in the first two months of the current year, this number increased to 1.8 manats.
