Today, the occupiers in Mariupol are primarily trying to secure their air defense systems.

The mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko told about this,

reports .

According to him, after numerous "cotton" there, the enemy feels very insecure.

"The occupiers in Mariupol are moving reserves. They are spinning around the city, it feels like they are waiting for something and therefore do not know where to move their reserves now," Andryushchenko said.

In his opinion, such commotion of the Russians can be connected with the change of leadership of the occupiers and with the expectation of a Ukrainian counteroffensive.

"Even along the border of the Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions in the Rozivka area, where there was nothing before, the enemy began to urgently build defense lines. Now the occupiers in Mariupol are first of all trying to secure their air defense systems. After the explosions, loud recordings of their movements, it is clear that that they move their anti-aircraft defense from place to place in order to hide," the speaker emphasized.

Andryushchenko added that tanks used to move to Mariupol from Novoazovsk, but now the movement has stopped.

They are talking about modernized tanks T-72, T-80, the ZSU tracks them and knows where they are.

"Now there is less equipment in Mariupol than there was before. We mainly observe the movement of fuel tankers and trucks with ammunition. We are looking for where they moor it and we are looking for how, when and where they entered the port of Mariupol. In summary, we can say that they are preparing the port as a military base, - summed up the speaker.
