France will double the supply of 155-mm shells to Ukraine, in particular, up to two thousand shells per month.
This was stated by the Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu in an interview with journalists.
According to him, Paris "will supply the ground equipment necessary for Ukraine's counteroffensive.
"Thus, we are doubling the supply of 155-mm projectiles to bring them up to 2,000 per month from the end of March," BFM Business quoted Lekornya as saying.
It should be noted that Ukraine actively uses 155-mm shells in the French CAESAR self-propelled guns and in the German PzH 2000.
Earlier, the Minister of Defense of France, Sebastien Lecornu, announced that his country would transfer 12 more Caesar howitzers to Ukraine.
