[Reporter Cai Yahua/Taipei Report] The KMT’s Taipei City Legislative Committee primary election started coordination this afternoon (28th). The Taipei City Party Coordination Meeting was held for more than 2 hours. Councilor Xu Qiaoxin insisted on taking the polls. The current legislator Fei Hongtai asked party members to account for 30% of the votes and polls accounted for 70%.

The Taipei City Party Headquarters of the Kuomintang held a coordination meeting at 3 p.m. to coordinate the 7th (Songshan Xinyi) and 8th (Zhongzheng Wenshan) constituencies. Unwilling to back down.

At 6:30 p.m., the coordination ended. Huang Lujinru, the chairman of the municipal party department, together with Xu Qiaoxin's husband Liu Yanli and Fei Hongtai's wife Wang Yixin, who were present as representatives, faced the media camera to explain.

Huang Lujinru said that Fei Hongtai hopes to adopt the method of party members voting 3+7, that is, the proportion of party members voting and public polls accounted for 30% and 70%. On the 30th, the municipal party department invited party members to hold a committee meeting and decided that 2/3 of the members must attend and 1/2 vote to adopt the method of public poll or 3+7.

Huang Lujinru said that Liu Yanli and Wang Yixin were both acceptable to the results, and the atmosphere was good. They expressed the same views on the time and method of conducting the polls in a tacit understanding. The coordination process was smooth, and the two sides talked and laughed and were very happy.

At the request of the media, Liu Yanli and Wang Yixin shook hands generously to show that the coordination process was peaceful.
