Last night, Kyiv experienced another Russian attack on the capital.

In various districts of the city, Kyivans heard the work of our air defense.

We received answers to our questions from the Kyiv City Military Administration.

It is known that as a result of a night attack over the sky of Kyiv, 12 Shaheds were shot down.

Does the enemy change tactics attacking the city at night?

"The terrorist country continues to use its tactics of attacks with barrage ammunition from the north-eastern direction. In total, 12 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type were detected and destroyed by all air defense forces in the airspace of Kyiv. The tactics of the Russians are different: they can launch drones in order to in order to first of all hit infrastructure objects, or to try to identify the areas where our air defense units are located, and in the very next wave to launch missiles at scouted targets. Thus, constant but futile efforts to exhaust Ukrainian air defense systems can be traced. The terrorist country tries to attack the capital with drones mainly at night , due to the fact that in the dark it is more difficult for mobile drone hunting groups to detect them visually.

We once again appeal to all residents of Kyiv to clearly and steadfastly comply with the requirements regarding the procedure in case of receiving a signal about the threat of airstrikes.

Upon receiving an air danger signal, you should immediately go to the nearest shelters." 

The mayor of Kyiv announced that there were hits and explosions in two districts of the capital - Svyatoshynskyi and Obolonskyi.

This scared the residents of the last district, but fortunately, there were no flights there.

Why did such information appear then, people are still interested in what exactly was affected?

"As a result of the fall of the fragments of the drone in the Sviatoshyn district of the capital, a fire broke out in a trade and warehouse building. The fire damaged the roof on an area of ​​200 square meters. The fire was extinguished. There were no victims or injuries. The situation center of the KMVA did not receive information about explosions or hits in the Obolon district." . 

Specify the affected object in Sviatoshyn district, what exactly was affected - a bank, a shop, an office? 

"Tonight, as a result of falling fragments of barrage ammunition, a fire broke out in a two-story commercial and warehouse building in the Sviatoshyn district of the capital. As a result of the fire, the roof on an area of ​​200 square meters, the administrative and commercial premises on the second floor, furniture and office equipment were damaged. No casualties or injuries were found as a result of the fire The fire was extinguished." 

By the way, a video from the affected warehouse is already being published on social networks.

A lot of goods were destroyed there.

"It can no longer be restored. There is also an expensive bathtub... for half a million and it fell into two parts," the woman says in the video.

We will remind, on the evening of Monday, March 27, the occupiers again launched the "Shahed" UAV in the direction of the capital.

Previously, the air defense forces destroyed all air targets in the airspace around Kyiv.
