In Chernivtsi, they noticed exotic green parrots, or as they call them, "Kramer's parrots".

Usually, they live in South Asia and some parts of Africa.

This was reported by one of the users of social networks, Tetyana Gavrilova, who published bright photos.

"No, this is not Africa and not Sri Lanka. This is Chernivtsi, Ukraine! I only saw them today, I had only read for a year and a half that green parrots have bred in Chernivtsi, and people see them on trees by the dozen or more. I began to study the question , and it's amazing. It turns out that this is not an isolated case, in Europe in recent years green parrots have increasingly been

spotted in various places where they were not seen before,"

she said in her post.

According to the author of the photos, this type of parrot can withstand cold up to -20 degrees.

"I saw that they eat seeds on

trees, mostly sit on large plane trees (trees), fly into hollows

," she wrote.

We will remind you that earlier we wrote what it means according to folk signs if a bird hits the window.
