Looking inside through the hole, it was found that a man was trapped in the culvert, so he called 119 immediately.

The firefighters entered the rescue from other entrances and exits of the sewer. After climbing about 40 meters, they came into contact with the trapped man surnamed Guo. They dragged him out with ropes and sent him to the hospital for treatment.

Guo Nan told the firefighters that he was trapped because the sea water rushed into the culvert.

A 66-year-old man surnamed Guo told the rescuers that he was walking on the shore of Chaojing Park. When the tide suddenly rose at noon, he was washed into the culvert by sea water. call for help.

Ye Jiahao, team leader of the Chung Cheng Division of the Fire Department, pointed out that because the injured were trapped deep in the culvert, 40 meters deep from the entrance, and the narrow culvert was difficult for people to get in and out of, they had to rely on team members to climb in and enter after 2 hours of rescue. The man was rescued by fixing him with ropes; Guo Nan had a fracture in his right leg, and he became conscious after being rescued. He was immediately sent to the Zhengrong Branch of the Tri-Service General Hospital for treatment, but his life is not in danger.
