Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Benjamin Netanyahu was born on October 21, 1949 in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is an Israeli politician and will postpone the process of discussing the controversial judicial reform until next month, a far-right party in the ruling coalition announced today, Reuters reported.

The statement by the Jewish Power party ("Otsma Ehudit") said the bill would be left until the next session of the Israeli parliament so that "the reform can be approved through dialogue."

Jewish Power leader Itamar Ben-Gvir, who is the minister of internal security, said he had agreed to withdraw his veto in exchange for a promise from Prime Minister Netanyahu that the bill would be tabled during the next parliamentary session.

Ben-Gvir and Netanyahu have agreed to postpone and introduce the bill during the Knesset's summer session starting on April 30 after the end of the parliamentary recess, a spokesman for the far-right party said.

He also said that a "national guard" would be created, which would be under the command of the far-right Ben-Gvir.

Next week, the Knesset goes on recess in connection with the Jewish Passover celebrations.
