On March 26, the Ukrainian military liquidated the commander of the 1st battalion of the 247th assault assault regiment, the

"hero of Russia" Dmytro Lysytskyi

, who was involved in the Ilovai tragedy in 2014, journalist Yurii Butusov reported.

However, Russian propagandists put forward their version of death - suicide.

"The Insider" and "Baza" write about it.

The ZMP of the Russian Federation claim that Lysytsky committed suicide.

His body with a gunshot wound was reportedly discovered at approximately 10 a.m. on March 26 in his apartment in Stavropol.

According to his colleagues, Lysytskyi had recently been in a depressed state and talked about suicide, probably "because of complaints about his illegal actions against the personnel."

The death of the lieutenant colonel was confirmed by Oleksandr Tenkov, the head of the Blagodarne city district of the Stavropol region, without specifying the cause.
