The number of active cases of corona virus infection has increased to 10,300 across the country.

In the last 24 hours, 1805 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in India, which is less than the 1890 cases reported on Sunday, but the ever-increasing cases of Kovid-19 have raised concerns.

Meanwhile, Delhi government-run hospitals conducted rehearsals on Sunday to assess their preparedness to deal with the rising cases of Kovid-19 in the city.

Here, the cases of corona virus infection are also increasing rapidly in Maharashtra.

On Sunday, 397 new cases of Kovid-19 were registered in Maharashtra.

After this, the number of active cases of corona virus infection has increased to 10,300 across the country. 

The Ministry of Health said that the number of deaths due to corona virus infection in the country has crossed 5,30,831.

The daily infection rate was recorded at 3.19 percent while the weekly infection rate is 1.29 percent.

The total cases of Kovid-19 have increased to 4.47 crore (4,47,05,952).

The ministry said that the number of patients under treatment is 0.02 percent of the total cases, while the national rate of recovery from infection is 98.79 percent.

So far 4,41,64,815 people have been cured of the infection, while the death rate is 1.19 percent.

According to the website of the ministry, under the nationwide vaccination campaign, 220.65 crore doses of anti-covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far.

153 new cases of COVID-19 in Delhi, infection rate rises to 9.13%


On Sunday, 153 new cases of corona virus were registered in Delhi and during this period the infection rate increased to 9.13 percent.

This information was received from the data shared by the Health Department.

According to the Health Department data, 139 cases were registered in Delhi on Saturday with an infection rate of 4.98 percent.

On Friday, 152 cases were registered with an infection rate of 6.66 percent, while on Thursday, 117 cases were registered with an infection rate of 4.95 percent.

The national capital recorded cases in three digits last October.

Delhi witnessed a rise in the number of new Covid cases in the last few days amid a sharp rise in H3N2 influenza cases in the country.

The national capital recorded 84 coronavirus cases on Wednesday with an infection rate of 5.08 percent, while 83 cases were reported on Tuesday with an infection rate of 5.83 percent.

After the arrival of new cases, the total number of cases of Kovid-19 in the national capital has increased to 20,08,732, while the total death toll has increased to 26,524.

The health department data also showed that 1,675 tests were conducted on Saturday.
