APA reports that the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolay Patrushev said this in an interview with "Rossiyskaya gazeta".

"In fact, NATO countries are parties to the conflict. They do not hide their main goals, they are trying to prolong this military conflict as much as possible - the defeat and division of Russia on the battlefield," he added.

Patrushev said that NATO countries have turned Ukraine into a large military camp: "They send weapons and ammunition to the Ukrainian forces, as well as information using drones and satellites.

"NATO instructors and advisers train Ukrainian troops."
