It often holds various important events, such as the Miaoli Pottery Art Festival. Recently, the Miaoli County Farmers Association and Gongguan Township Farmers Association have settled in.

However, due to the uneven indoor floor of the Miaoli Special Pavilion and the surrounding environment being in disrepair for a long time, the county government spent 2 million yuan to improve it, and it is expected to be completed in early April.

The Culture and Tourism Bureau of the Miaoli County Government stated that since the manufacturer closed the OT case in 2013, the Miaoli Special Museum has been taken over by the Culture and Tourism Bureau of the county government. In addition to being used as a workshop classroom and a special exhibition venue, there are also Miaoli County Farmers’ Association and Gongguan Township Farmers’ Association recently. Before moving in, the Miaoli Pottery Art Season was also held, and the "Chuanlong Station" was created to provide delicious cuisine combined with local ingredients such as taro, basil, and red dates, as well as a base for displaying and selling related products.

In addition, the Cultural and Tourism Bureau of the Miaoli County Government pointed out that in order to revitalize the venue and promote local tourism, it also cooperated with the Golden Town, a well-known leisure agricultural area in Gongguan Township, to hold a cultural and creative market in the Miaoli Special Hall to invite young farmers from the Golden Town Sell ​​local agricultural products and handmade special items.

The rural community shop of the Miaoli County Farmers Association also unveiled its Miaoli Special Pavilion, creating a comprehensive functional venue for sightseeing, exhibition and sales of agricultural specialties, and promotion of pottery.

However, because the Cultural and Tourism Bureau of the Miao County Government found that the indoor floor of the Miaoli Special Museum was uneven and the surrounding environment was in disrepair, and the facilities were old, the wooden grilles around the building were demolished, toilets were added, and porcelain wood grain was re-laid. Bricks, new barrier-free passages and removal of L-shaped steel frames, hoping to give the overall building a new look, and continue to plan for multi-functional use.
