The Ministry of e-Governance will provide access to the source code that will be installed on the voting machines for the April 2 elections.

According to the Electoral Code, parties and coalitions that crossed the 4 percent barrier in the last parliamentary elections and received registration in the CEC for participation in the machine authentication process have the right to access.

The process of building the source code was carried out by CEC experts and the executor of the public order - "Siela Norma", in the presence of representatives of the commission and political parties.

To ensure the security of the software on each machine, it is locked with keys that are stored in the CEC, and it can only be unlocked with the same keys.

The hash code for the machines has also been successfully generated and should be identical for all voting devices.

In this way, it must be ensured that the software of the machine is identical to the certificates from the institutions.
