Earlier, he visited Byala Slatina and talked to the citizens about the problems they have.
"We are the only country in the EU where funds are dramatically raised to eliminate inequalities from 30 to 40%.
This shows that the money went to certain companies.
If this money reaches all the companies in the country, we will see the result," he assured.
"The saddest thing is that only 27% of the money that came from Europe reached Northern Bulgaria, and this can be seen. That's why we included a clause in the contract that the money be distributed 50 by 50 between Northern and Southern Bulgaria. For this reason, we also made a clause in the contract for the Recovery and Sustainability Plan - to do the judicial reform in order to get them, Vassilev explained.
