The presence of water on the Moon has been confirmed in many studies.

However, scientists for the first time made a map related to the distribution of water on the Moon.

It shows how water moves across the surface of the Moon.

Specialists are confident that the map will be useful in future research. 

Bill Reich, director of the SOFIA Science Center and lead author of the study, told the conference that craters can be seen on this map.

There is also a difference between day and night, which is possible due to the high concentration of water present there. 

Many studies have also claimed the existence of water on the Moon.

Last year, in an article published in the International Journal-Nature Communications, Chinese scientists said that much of the water found in samples brought back from the moon must have come from the interior of the moon. 

The American space agency takes the mission related to the moon very seriously.

It plans to launch the Artemis-3 mission by 2025.
