The report of an explosive device placed at the airport in the Kosovo capital Pristina, received last night by the local police, turned out to be false, the Kosovo news agency KosovaPress reported.

Police spokeswoman Flora Ahmeti said that after a thorough investigation by law enforcement agencies, nothing suspicious was found and police units were withdrawn from the area, while investigators began work on clarifying all the circumstances related to the case, BTA reports.

A 13-year-old gave a bomb alert at school

Passengers were previously evacuated from the airport due to a bomb alert received at the international airport in Pristina around 21:00 local time (22:00 Bulgarian time).
