New Taipei City Councilor Lin Jinjiejin (27) Japanese media joined forces with Tucheng Lions Club, Tucheng Women's Association, Taiwan Housing and other groups and enterprises to donate 50,000 pairs of socks to Turkey to assist Turkey in post-disaster reconstruction. The donation ceremony was held in Tucheng District Office It was held before and was accepted by the representative of the Turkish Taipei Trade Office, Secretary Zhenxiao.
After the 50,000 pairs of socks were handed over at the scene, they were directly sent to the Keelung shipping storage area under the arrangement of the Turkish representative office, and Evergreen Shipping assisted in transporting them to Turkey together with other people's livelihood materials to help Turkey rebuild after the disaster.
Lin Jinjie said that the most beautiful scenery in Taiwan is its people. Although individual power is limited, the power of gathering people is unlimited. As a representative of public opinion, in addition to being the mouthpiece of the people, we should also use goodness to drive the local area and make Taiwan better.
He said that the temperature in Turkey is still around 10 degrees now, and there is nothing left to do after the disaster. In the past, when the 921 strong earthquake occurred in Taiwan, he also received assistance from various countries. He was very grateful for this. Launched fundraising and sent 100 boxes of people's livelihood materials to Turkey.
Guan Zhenxiao thanked the kind-hearted people from all walks of life in Taiwan for their assistance to Turkey. The first batch of 100 boxes of people's livelihood materials had already arrived in Turkey by air as soon as possible, and now donated another 50,000 pairs to Taiwan. The socks produced will be shipped to Turkey along with other materials by sea. Thank you for the love from all walks of life in Taiwan.
