In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, because of Putin's threats, they say that under no circumstances can a nuclear war be unleashed.

This was announced by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning during the briefing.

According to her, it is necessary to "focus on the diplomatic solution of problems".

The official also referred to the joint statement of the leaders of the nuclear powers, made on January 5, 2022, in which it is said that it is impossible to win a nuclear war.

"The statement emphasized that wars between nuclear-armed states should be avoided and strategic risks should be reduced," Mao Ning said.

Interestingly, she did not name any specific names or countries.

We will remind that after the threat of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to place nuclear weapons in Belarus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevičs, called for new sanctions.
