[Reporter Zhang Xuanzhe/Taichung Report] The baboon in Taoyuan City, which has attracted the attention of the whole Taiwan, was shot and died today after being captured. Taiwanese black bear conservationist Pingke University Professor Huang Meixiu pointed out on Facebook tonight that the death of the baboon should not be the price of freedom. She thought about the plight of the No. 711 Daxueshan black bear who was shot last May, and lamented why life is suffering for other lives.

The baboon, who had wandered in Taoyuan City for many days, died unexpectedly today, causing criticism from all walks of life.

It is reminiscent of the number 711 of the Daxueshan Taiwan black bear that was repeatedly caught in traps. After being released into the wild in the Nantou mountain area, it was unfortunately shot dead by hunters and buried in May last year. The last 30,000 yuan was handed over to the bail. The 711 black bear was buried on February 14 this year in the Daxueshan Forest Road where it grew up.

Huang Meixiu pointed out in a post on Facebook, "I haven't read the news, but there has been a lot of "buzzing" on Facebook recently. I feel that many people are watching monkey shows, and now they are stopped breathing. This death should not be the price of freedom. !" She said that if she could turn to Jimmy Beunardeau's book at this time, "then I would be able to better understand the pain and evil of this 'Godless Land', where you and I are."

Huang Meixiu said that it is difficult for her not to think of the plight of Daxueshan black bear 711 who was shot at least four times in her life and survived the tiger's mouth. The second release was less than a month after being released into the wild last May.

"These animals are sending us an important message, respect for life. 'When did we forget: they also live on this beautiful planet. When did we remember: they share the blessings and resources of the earth with humans. 』Humans, why is life so difficult for other lives? Have we ever seen human beings through the eyes of other animals? What is the difference between human beings and other animals?"

Huang Meixiu lamented the death of baboons on Facebook.
