Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić believes that negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union can begin in June.

APA reports that he said this in an interview with Pink TV channel on Sunday.

"Ukraine will not be easily won militarily, or rather it is almost impossible. I expect that already in June it will make a big step on the European road. I think that the immediate start of negotiations with the possibility of early and emergency membership in the EU decisions will be made," Vucic said.

"The competition about who will be the head of NATO begins, the Americans create a bloc within Europe, these will be Poland, the Baltic countries and Ukraine.

When you take these five countries, a country larger than France and approaching Germany comes out in terms of population.

If you add Romania here, you will get the strongest "sextet" in Europe.

In Europe itself, everything is moving towards changing the political map, our task is to observe it.

I hope this will change the dynamics of our relations with Europe in a positive way.

Of course, there will always be a limiting factor for us - sanctions against the Russian Federation and, of course, Kosovo and Metohija," the president said.
