On Sunday, March 26, the priests of the UPM MP held their last Sunday services on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which they must leave by March 29.

This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Patriarchate.

It is noted that the liturgies take place in the church of All the Venerable Pechersk Icons of the Mother of God "All Sorrowful Joys" and "Life-Bearing Source", as well as in the church of the Venerable Agapit of Pechersk, the Annochativ Church and the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh.

Metropolitan Onufriy, head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church,

led the liturgy on the square in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

.

During his address to the faithful, he cynically urged "to pray for peace on the Ukrainian land" and "get rid of the enemy", as well as "that the Lord look down on our people and preserve those who are in despair and have lost their homes; about God's blessing to the good people wills that help the needy".

As you can see in the photo and video, thousands of people who attend the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate came to the Lavra for the Sunday service.

The day before, it was reported that representatives of the UOC-MP began leaving the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate must move out of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra by March 29.
