In the Poltava region, a 67-year-old man

To hide the crime, he decided to get rid of the body.

This was reported in the press service of the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office. 

"Due to constant conflicts, in particular due to inheritance, a man shot a 46-year-old stepson with a hunting smoothbore rifle. In order to hide the crime at night, he took the body to the dump with a cart, threw the victim's personal belongings into a pond, and when he returned home, cleaned the house and even tore it from a piece of wallpaper stained with blood on the wall," the department said in a statement.

The man was deprived of his liberty for 10 years by the Lubensk City District Court.
