There was a telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia.

APA reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran released information about this.

It was reported that Iranian Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian and Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud discussed the normalization of relations between the two countries.

The ministers agreed to meet soon.

Earlier, Abdullahian said he planned to meet Prince Faisal on neutral ground.

According to him, Tehran offered three countries that could organize their meeting in Riyadh.

On March 10, Saudi Arabia and Iran agreed to restore diplomatic relations and open their embassies within two months.
