A second Cold War could turn out to be more dangerous than the first, warns former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in an interview with El Mundo published last night.

According to Kissinger, one of the reasons why the second Cold War could be more dangerous is the fact that China and the US have comparable economic resources - something that, according to the former secretary of state, was not present in the previous one between the US and USSR.

Washington and Beijing have a common obligation to prevent a catastrophic collision, Kissinger said, quoted by BTA.
