Bulgaria supplied Ukraine with weapons worth 2 billion 500 thousand euros.

APA reports that the BTV channel reported on this.

Former prime minister Kirill Petkov said that Sofia transferred 5 billion leva (about 2.5 billion euros) worth of arms to Kiev over 164 days.

"It is very important that we stand in solidarity with Ukraine and work together with our European partners," he stressed.

It was previously reported that Bulgaria has a fairly good potential for the further increase in ammunition production required by Ukraine.

"Politico" publication reported this with reference to the European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton.
