Vice President

Iliana Yotova called for talks between Russia and Ukraine after dictator Vladimir Putin announced plans to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus.

BTA writes about it.

"These are not empty talks. This is our desire, because the increase in armaments from all sides leads to unpredictable decisions, which actually threaten a serious war," she said.

Yotova also hopes that the statement about placing nuclear weapons in Belarus is just a threat.

"I hope that reason will still prevail, and in this case it's more about threats than actual action. I really hope that it will be," she said.

Putin announced that Russia will deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus
