The Unión Eléctrica reports that yesterday the service was not affected due to a deficit in generation capacity in the national electricity system (SEN).

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2,648 MW and the demand is 1,930 MW, with the entire system with service.

It is estimated that during the daytime there will be no affectations

to the service due to a deficit in generation capacity.

Unit 2 of the CTE Santa Cruz and unit 2 of the CTE Felton are out of service due to a breakdown.

The unit of CTE Guiteras, unit 4 of CTE Cienfuegos and units 4 and 6 of CTE Renté are under maintenance.

Limitations on thermal generation (362 MW) are maintained.

While in distributed generation, 832 MW are unavailable due to failure and 185 MW are under maintenance.

For peak hours, the completion of unit 6 of Energas Boca de Jaruco with 20 MW is estimated, the entry of 80 MW in Patana de Tallapiedra and the recovery of 30 MW in distributed generation plants that are out for fuel.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,778 MW and a maximum demand of 2,600 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a reserve of 178 MW, so that if the forecast conditions are maintained, no affectations to the service are forecast due to a deficit in generation capacity
