Ukraine is preparing to reform the process of passing military medical commissions.
It is planned to be digitized and made much easier.
This is stated on the website of the government portal.
"The goal of the Government is the maximum digitization of all processes and the creation of conditions under which all documents will be collected by an electronic system, and the military will receive a comfortable and fast service," stressed Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
Thus, the participants of the meeting have already defined an action plan for the reform of the VLK.
The expert group also presented its findings, determined by the results of the previous meeting.
Among them: increasing the throughput capacity of the VLK, access to the electronic health care system, barrier-free measures.
As early as April, a pilot project to deploy an electronic document management system in military units, territorial procurement centers and other related structures can begin.
The next stage is digitalization of military personnel's medical history.
The issue of shortening the investigation period for obtaining a certificate from the military unit about the circumstances of the injury was considered separately.
The Prime Minister gave the task of developing the necessary resolutions and amendments to the laws.
In addition, the Ministry of Health provided proposals for the reform of medical and social expert commissions.
Denys Shmyhal noted that it should be a comprehensive solution based on international standards, where people are the main priority.
We will remind, in an interview with TSN.ua, lawyer Andriy Novak told what to do when a person with a certain disease passes a medical examination at the military commissariat during mobilization, but cannot document his state of health.
