On March 24, law enforcement officers inspected the scene and removed the bodies, which were sent for forensic examination in order to identify them and determine the cause of death. 

The communication department of the police of the Kharkiv region writes about this.

Previously, residents of the village of Suligivka, Izyum district, died in the spring of 2022 during an aerial bombardment by the armed forces of the Russian Federation.  

According to this fact, a criminal proceeding has been opened under Part 2 of Art.

438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The sanction of the article provides up to 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.
