Poland has handed over to the European Union the invoice for weapons worth 2 billion euros, which it supplied to Ukraine.

According to APA, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki said this in an interview with RMF radio on Saturday.

"We handed over 2 billion accounts. This is very good news for Poland. It is very good news for the Polish budget. With this money, we will be able to buy the most modern weapons," added Moravetski.

Poland has provided the Ukrainian Armed Forces with MiG-29 aircraft, T-72 tanks and 14 Leopard 2 tanks, artillery shells and other ammunition, man-portable air defense systems and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The country's authorities estimated the amount of military aid to Ukraine in 2022 at 2.2 billion euros.
