Those who observe Vinayak Chaturthi fast should get up early in the morning in Brahma Muhurta and retire from the rituals like bath and defecation.

Vinayaka Chaturthi is celebrated on Shukla Paksha of every month.

This day is dedicated to Lord Ganesha.

By worshiping him, all the troubles of life go away, hence he is also called Vighnaharta.

Shukla Chaturthi will start on March 24 at 04:59 PM and will continue till the next day i.e. March 25 at 04:23 PM. 

Those who keep fast on Vinayaka Chaturthi should get up early in the morning in Brahma Muhurta and retire from the rituals like bath and defecation.

After this take bath and wear clean clothes and first of all offer water to rising Lord Bhaskar.

On this day it is best to use a copper vessel to offer water to Lord Surya.

On the day of Vinayaka Chaturthi, take a coir coconut to the temple for the sake of Lord Ganesha.

Along with this, take Modak to offer to Ganapati.

Offer flowers from durva and rose to Lord Ganapati and  chant

at least 108 times.

Offer incense and lamp to God.

Must perform aarti at the end of worship.
