Jio is the first company to launch 5G network in more than 400 cities of the country.

Jio True 5G: The country's leading telecom company Reliance Jio has installed about one lakh telecom towers across the country with the aim of setting up the fastest and widest 5G network to provide high speed internet service.

In this case, Jio has left Airtel behind.

Bharti Airtel is second in terms of setting up 5G telecom towers in the country. According to the latest data from the Telecom Department, Jio is almost five times ahead of second placed company Airtel in terms of setting up telecom towers.

Jio has installed 99,897 base transceiver stations (BTS) in the 700 MHz and 3,500 MHz bands, according to the daily status report released on the Telecom Department's National EMF portal.

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel, which is in second place, has installed a total of 22,219 BTS.

As of Thursday, Jio has three cell units for each base station, while Airtel has two cell units.

Let us tell you that due to having more towers and cell units, the speed of internet remains high.

 According to a report released on February 28, the top speed of Jio's internet was pegged at 506 megabytes per second (MBPS) while Airtel came second with a high speed of 268 MBPS.

Earlier, on Tuesday, March 21, Reliance Jio rolled out its high speed internet service Jio True 5G in 41 new cities of India.

After the addition of these new cities, the Jio True 5G network has now reached 406 cities in the country.

Jio is the first company to launch 5G network in more than 400 cities of the country.

The company claims that the rest of the telecom companies are far behind in this matter.
