Cuba's will to promote cooperation in education, science and culture during its pro tempore presidency of the Group of 77 plus China was reiterated by the ambassador of the Greater Antilles to UNESCO, Yahima Esquivel Moynelo.

In this sense, he recalled the meeting of Ministers of Education organized last month in Havana, where the participants agreed to promote the construction of consensus, strengthen unity and promote South-South and triangular cooperation in the important area of ​​UNESCO's mission. .

In response to this priority, Esquivel Moynelo announced that

a forum of G-77 Culture Ministers plus China will take place in Cuba from May 3 to 5

The official also stressed that

the summit of heads of state and government scheduled for September will have science and technology as its center

, adding that this year the General Conference of UNESCO, the body in charge of setting policies and guidelines, will also meet work of the multilateral entity.
