They fought for Mariupol, went through "Azovstal" and Russian captivity, in particular, in Olenivka, and now, having returned home, they collect money to help the Ukrainian army and conduct courses in tactical medicine for civilians, TSN reports.

"Azov" fighters - medic Asana Isenadzhiev, who saved people in the basements of "Azovstal" and Gennady under the pseudonym "Reporter", who came to the plant already wounded, in relatively calm Kyiv, during their trainings, bring people to extreme stress.

A year ago, 27-year-old Asan Isenajiev was looking for broken vessels of Ukrainian soldiers in Mariupol.

Crimean Tatar Asan became recognizable thanks to this photo, where he shows a heart in blood-covered gloves, and then just in the basements of "Azovstal" he recorded an appeal to Turkish President Erdogan with a request for an extraction procedure.

"Reporter", also known as Gennady, once worked as a TV operator, went to serve in the "Azov" regiment.

In April of last year, Gena RaAzom and his unit were leaving the right bank of Mariupol, were going to Azovstal and came under artillery fire.

"Tore off a finger and damaged my face," he says.

Both boys were already captured from Azovstal in May 2022.

It is the Azov residents that the Russians have been preferring not to give during exchanges for a year, but Asan and Gena were lucky.

"Absolutely random, exchanges, in my opinion, take place absolutely randomly, there is no regularity in those who are exchanged", - Gennadiy is convinced.

Currently, they are both in rehabilitation.

They say they try not to remember what they went through.

However, they always remember friends and comrades who died or are still in captivity.

Now they arrange training for civilians in tactical medicine, which is very unusual - it's not just applying tourniquets and stopping blood.

The most important part of this training is the smoky basement.

The guys from "Azovstal" did everything so that the training participants learned how to save people in unbearable conditions.

In the half-lit, smoky basement, instructors shout at students, douse them with water and set off firecrackers.

Their task is to teach these people to provide assistance to the victims under conditions of the greatest stress.

The participants of the training are grateful to the boys.

"Unexpectedly, on adrenaline, but such things must be passed," - say the students.

Asan and Gena emphasize that such trainings with smoke and explosions cannot even be compared with what Ukrainian fighters undergo at the front.

The guys are going to hold more training sessions.

Thanks to them, donations are being collected to help Ukrainian fighters.

They buy something that can save lives.
