A resident of Chornobayivka, Kherson region, was convicted for participating in a "referendum" on the region's accession to the

This was reported on March 25 in the press service of the Primorsky District Court of Odesa.

It is emphasized that a supporter of the enemy distributed ballots to vote for the region's accession to Russia.

The investigation established that in September last year, the woman, along with armed Russian military personnel, went from house to house in the village of Chornobayivka and handed out ballots.

In court, the accused admitted her guilt.

That is why she will spend the last five years behind bars.

In addition, she was banned for 10 years from holding positions in state and local self-government bodies, from engaging in activities related to the election process and the referendum process.
