The Unión Eléctrica reported that yesterday the service was not affected due to a deficit in generation capacity in the SEN.

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2,460 MW and the demand is 1,940 MW, and the entire system is in service.

It is estimated that during the daytime there will be no affectations to the service due to a deficit in generation capacity.

Unit 5 of the CTE Mariel (in the start-up process), unit 2 of the CTE Santa Cruz, unit 3 of the CTE Rente and units 1 and 2 of the CTE Felton are out of service due to a breakdown.

The unit of CTE Guiteras, unit 4 of CTE Cienfuegos and units 4 and 6 of CTE Renté are under maintenance.

Limitations on thermal generation (268 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 845 MW are unavailable due to failure and 117 MW are under maintenance.

For peak hours, the completion of unit 6 of Energas Boca de Jaruco with 10 MW is estimated, the entry of unit 5 of CTE Mariel with 60 MW, the entry of 35 MW in Patana de Regla and the recovery of 40 MW in distributed generation plants that are out for fuel.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,605 MW and a maximum demand of 2,600 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a reserve of 5 MW, so that if the forecast conditions are maintained, effects could occur that will not exceed 65 MW due to a deficit of generation capacity at this time.
