The number of victims in the heavy floods in Sanlıurfa and Adyaman districts (Southeastern Turkey) has reached 21 people, reported the Turkish television NTV.

After a search that lasted for days, the body of the young man Emin Ergun was found today. 

He was dragged with the TIR, which he was driving, by the rising waters of a river in the area of ​​Şanlıurfa.

The bodies of a mother and her one-year-old daughter who had gone missing in Adhyaman County were found this week.

Şanlıurfa and Adyaman are among the worst hit counties from the devastating earthquakes on February 6.

Heavy rains are expected in the area again today.

A yellow code for expected heavy rainfall with thunderstorms was issued for today for eight districts - Kahramanmaras, Gaziantep, Adyaman, Malatya, Kilis, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Elyağı.
