PM Modi will gift projects worth 1784 crores to Varanasi today.

Varanasi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming on a one-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Friday.

PM Modi will stay in Kashi for about five hours.

During this, PM Modi will be led by Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport at around 10 am. 

The Prime Minister will first inaugurate a three-day conference based on 'One World TB Summit' at Rudraksh Convention Center in Varanasi on World TB Day.

After this, PM Modi will address a public meeting at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University.

During this, the Prime Minister will gift schemes worth about ₹ 1784 crore to his parliamentary constituency. 

According to Divisional Commissioner Kaushalraj Sharma, 20 projects worth about ₹ 200 crore will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.

This includes ATC tower at the airport, construction of a pack house at Karkhianv, inter-house circumambulation path, police line barracks and various smart city projects, among others.

Apart from this, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of nine major projects worth more than ₹ 1500 crore.

This includes projects like Urban Public Transport Ropeway, proposed Bhagwanpur STP from Namami Gange, Phase 2 and 3 work of Sigra Stadium, drinking water scheme, Bharthara PHC, LED packet unipole, floating jetty and changing room, HPL bottling plant established at Sewapuri.
