[Reporter Wei Jinyun/Taipei Report] In response to the emphasis on student autonomy in the 108 curriculum, in order to meet the learning needs of the new generation of students, the Education Bureau of the Taipei City Government is expected to invest 30 million yuan this year. Combined with the specialist classroom environment upgrade plan, through classroom space renovation, subsidies 12 to 15 national and high schools build "new generation learning spaces".

Tang Zhimin, director of the Education Bureau of Taipei City, said that the learning space in the school is not limited to allowing students to sit in rows in the classroom. The "new generation learning space" makes every corner of the campus a learning environment to meet learning needs.

Tang Zhimin pointed out that it is not enough for teachers to give students knowledge one-way. Some children have different interests and exploration abilities. The "New Generation Learning Space" allows students to use the indoor and outdoor environments and corridor corners from the general classroom to the school. etc., establish a multi-modal and reconfigurable space, provide high-tech equipment and movable furniture, so that students can move around to different learning environments and actively explore nature.

Among them, Taipei Zhongshan Junior High School uses corridors, campus corners, special classrooms and technological equipment to make the campus a diverse learning space. Today, the "New Generation Learning Space Observation Session" was held, and many schools sent personnel to experience it.

Principal Wu Mingfeng said that since the school is a learning field, every place should allow children to learn. There are also physical equipment and aesthetic corners in the school to provide students with various talent training and support students' all-round development. I hope to use this to promote the learning atmosphere. Let students learn subtly after entering the campus.

Lin, an eighth-grade student at Zhongshan Junior High School, said that every eighth-grade student has to design a graduation uniform for the whole school to vote on. In order to let everyone have design inspiration, the school has posted many large-scale curtains with icons of various countries on the walls of the campus. In the art class, two people work together in groups, and learn about the cultures and festivals of various countries through the tablet AR (Augmented Reality).
