A road surface on Ruilong Road suddenly collapsed, and a female motorcycle rider fell and injured this afternoon. After excavation at the maintenance office in the evening, it was confirmed that the tap water connection was damaged, and the water company will continue to deal with it.

At about 1:50 this afternoon, a woman surnamed Chen was riding a locomotive, passing the intersection of Ruilong Road and Gangshan West Street in Qianzhen District, when the road suddenly caved in, and the front of Ms Chen’s car just fell into the hole, and Ms Chen also fell. The car caused the right foot to be bruised, so he rushed to the doctor to bandage it.

The tiankeng was about 90 cm long, 60 cm wide, and 30 cm deep. After receiving the report, the police immediately placed triangular cones and enclosed a blockade to prevent further injuries.

The Municipal Labor Service Office stated in the evening that the cause of the unknown subsidence and hollowing out of the road surface was confirmed to be a broken water connection pipe after excavation at 4:50 p.m., and the water company will deal with it.

After excavation at the maintenance office in the evening, it was confirmed that the tap water pipe was damaged.
