Commodity exchanges and auctions observed a drop in the prices of the majority of vegetables, but also a hold in the price of basic food products.

The foodprice.bg site is expected to be operational around 3:30 p.m. today.

It will contain:

  • importer prices

  • wholesale prices

  • retail prices observed weekly by area of ​​the country.

    Both large chains and small outlets are covered, but no promotions.

  • the prices of 11 basic food products from 7 European countries

The information platform was built by "Information Service".

"The platform unites all the institutions that are related to the topic. And it is a tool not only for monitoring, but also for storing data, which is currently a serious weakness - there is a lack of such data," said Economy Minister Nikola Stoyanov.
