An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 was registered today off the coast of Japan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported, as quoted by BTA.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 60 kilometers and 621 kilometers southeast of the city of Yokosuka on the island of Honshu, TASS reported.
