[Reporter Cai Zhangsheng/Zhushi Report] On the eve of Children's Day, the Hsinchu City Government held a kindergarten firefighting experience activity. Today, it is super cute in the square in front of the Confucius Temple. A total of 857 children participated in the 2-day 2-step activity, wearing specially-made small firefighting clothing and rescue suits, to actually experience 6 checkpoints including riding a ladder car, earthquake response, shooting water and firefighting, and crossing a zipline. There are also search and rescue dogs performing and interacting on site.

Mayor Gao Hongan also sang along with the children at the scene, and experienced the lift-off of the ladder car with the cute babies. He hoped that the children would have a better understanding of disaster relief through the experience activities.

Gao Hongan said that the Fire Department carefully planned a series of activities for children to break through the barriers, such as high-altitude disaster relief with ladder trucks, earthquake drills, and fire hose pulling fires. Let's celebrate Children's Day with the city's best search and rescue dogs.

Li Shigong, chief of the fire department, said that registrations from various kindergartens were quite enthusiastic, and more than 400 children attended the scene today. The 6 major levels of the event are all combined with firefighting imagery, which are "Infinite Strength" challenge to pull the hose, "Falling from the sky" crossing the zipline, "Rescue Pioneer" joint rescue, "Straight into the sky" experience of ascent, "Di Niu Turning Over" earthquake experience Car and water shooting experience, "Mission must be achieved" to find disaster prevention equipment, hoping to let children play middle school through children's experience activities, and also appeal to the public to pay more attention to home safety.
