The man was stopped near Scravena.

Alcohol and drug tests were negative.

He was taken to the district administration of Botevgrad, and after a few hours he was released.

After the accident, his family forbade him to drive long distances.

"I don't give him up.

Over 100, over 90 - I don't give it to him.

I'm watching," says his wife Petranka Licheva.

The European Commission proposes to reduce the validity periods of the documents of drivers over 70 years old.

To go every 5 years for medical examinations and take refresher courses.

"Measures must be taken in relation to elderly drivers, but not only to them, but to all drivers," commented driving instructor Rosen Georgiev.

How does he accept the proposals - we ask Marin Papurkov.

The 97-year-old man does not leave his 55-year-old "Warsaw".

"The little kid, when you give him a bath, the maca licks his ass.

The dirty one is washed with the broom and hit with the handle - that's the difference.

I am sure.

I'm afraid of others," says Papurkov.

His daughter Nadka Petkov is also worried about other road users who drive unwisely.

Among the proposals of the European Commission are more frequent prevention of diabetics
