Russian terrorist Ihor Girkin (Strelkov) admitted that the Russian occupiers, who were sent to war in Ukraine, are war criminals.

Girkin said this in his Telegram channel.

He spoke about the fact that the so-called "SVO" has no legal status.

"From the point of view of legislation, the entire so-called "SVO" is an unknown what. It's just unknown what. The troops currently fighting at the front do not have any legal status. Therefore, if the "SVO" ends in defeat, not a single soldier will be able to speak , that he was carrying out orders, since legally he did not even have the right to carry them out. Well, how can a military man, when war has not been declared, shoot at a representative of another state? He is a criminal," Girkin said.

Earlier, the terrorist Girkin predicted the shameful failure of Russia in the battles for Bakhmut.

He also called on the Kremlin to imprison another war criminal, the owner of the "Wagner" PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin.

Investigator Bellingcat talked about why Girkin has not been punished for criticizing the war.

According to Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin, Girkin operates under the supervision of the FSB.
