The Unión Eléctrica de Cuba reported that yesterday the service was affected due to a deficit in generation capacity from 6:40 p.m. to 7:49 p.m. (01:09 a.m.).

The maximum impact at night was 78 MW at 7:00 p.m.

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 this Thursday is 2,460 MW and the demand is 1,840 MW, with the entire system with service.

It is estimated that during the daytime there will be no affectations to the service due to a deficit

in generation capacity.

Units 5 and 6 of the CTE Mariel and units 1 and 2 of the CTE Felton are out of service due to breakdown.

The unit of CTE Guiteras, unit 4 of CTE Cienfuegos and units 4 and 6 of CTE Renté are under maintenance.

The UNE points out that the limitations in thermal generation (196 MW) remain, and that in distributed generation 881 MW are unavailable due to failure and 130 MW under maintenance.

For peak hours, the completion of unit 6 of Energas Boca de Jaruco with 80 MW is expected.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,540 MW and a maximum demand of 2,520 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a reserve of 20 MW, therefore, if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 50 MW is forecast due to capacity deficit

. generation at this time
